Submit button no longer re-directing to page

I’ve been successfully using this plugin for a while with no problems, and this isn’t actually a CF7 problem as far as I know, but bear with me please. The issue is, I’ve used another plugin to get js and css files to load asynchronally to speed up my site. Everything is fine except when people hit the CF7 submit button as it no longer re-directs to another page as it did before, instead it reloads the page with the successfully sent message, but I really need it to re-direct as before.
Also previously when people missed out required fields and hit submit, the fields required messages came up straight away, but now the page refreshes and then displays the fields required messages, but prefer it how it was previously without refreshing.
From what I’ve read so far it is likely to do with a file or files not loading until after an event, but as I’m not technically minded I don’t know how to sort it out, if this is the issue? Any help is appreciated, thanks.
