• This client has suddenly been getting inundated with a lot of blank emails from one of their form submissions (link above). Meaning they receive an email indicating a submission has been made, but the email has no content. We are using a CRM plugin to capture/archive submissions on the back end, and these “empty” entries are not being captured in that plugin. The client just receives the empty email notification. We’ve tested the form, and it functions properly otherwise. Recaptcha on the site is configured correctly. I’m not locating support docs through Contact Form 7 so unsure how to further troubleshoot. Is this a spam issue? If so, thoughts on how to resolve?

Why do you think the blank email are coming through the contact form?

Because they are. The messages are not ENTIRELY blank. Meaning the form tags are there, but the responses are blank. We have resume upload required, so I’m unsure how they could submit the form if left blank. Below is what the body of the email looks like. The client is getting the forms submitted correctly in many instances, BUT they are getting many which are blank like below.

    From: [your-name] [last-name]<[your-email]>
    Subject: [position]

    Message Body:

    [your-name] [last-name]

    Phone: [tel-214]

    Position: [menu-461]

    [cover-letter]

    [resume]
