Submission Export – Filter not applied

    I’ve specified to filter Submissions to Submission Status = Completed and set Sort by = Submissions Date and Sort Order = Ascending. I click the APPLY button and the list is displayed is filtered correctly and excludes the Drafts.

    I click the EXPORT button. I check the “Apply Submission Filters” then click on “DOWNLOAD CSV”. The export CSV has the data sorted in Submission Date Ascending order BUT includes ALL submissions.

    I change the filter to Submission Status = Draft, click APPLY and the list only shows just the 10 draft submissions. When I export, I see ALL submissions!

    Why does the “DOWNLOAD CSV” only apply the Sorting criteria but does not the apply the current Submission Status filter?

    If the export includes ALL, is there a way to show the Submission Status on the export file? On the displayed list, the Draft submissions are clearly marked, but there is no column in the export that state that the record is a draft.

    I hope you are doing well.

    Sorry to hear you are having this issue, I was able to replicate this problem on my lab site and we will report to our developers.

    Unfortunately we can’t add the status in the export file but I am also forwarding this as a feature request.

    We can’t give an estimate time to fix the filter but please keep the plugin updated.

    We still have a problem with the export not applying the filters. What should we do? We need to only download Completed submissions. What is the best way to eliminate Drafts?

    Right now our Draft expiration is 999 days. If we change the draft expiration to a shorter number, e.g. 7 days, when does the system exactly delete the old drafts?

    Unfortunately, the issue noticed is more of a bug which our team is already working on. At the moment, I’m afraid, there isn’t any exact ETA we could provide on when we’ll have a fix for this.

    Right now our Draft expiration is 999 days. If we change the draft expiration to a shorter number, e.g. 7 days, when does the system exactly delete the old drafts?

    The plugin will invoke the forminator_general_data_protection_cleanup Cron Event and will delete based on the cron job after 7 days.
