Submenu's not aligning correctly in every browser except Chrome

    Hello!

    I’m a newbie, please be kind ??

    I am having some trouble with some vertical drop down menus that only seem to align how I think they should in Google Chrome. I have tried FF, IE and Safari, and all display the drop downs in the same location, not where I want them.

    The CSS file is likely to be messy (I tend to tidy afterwards) but I was hoping someone would be able to point me in the right direction to sort it.

    This is my first custom built theme so hopefully it’s an easy understandable fix. Also any tips on the structure etc of the site would be great!

    The links are the About Us, Church Life and Media ones. The desired effect is to have them all display under their parent pages/ menu titles.

    Just a quick update – by changing the Submenu list items to display:inline-block, Safari seems to now work how it should.

    Haven’t been able to test IE but FF still not working.

    Issue solved – after many hours…

    Worked out that instead of displaying the top level links as display inline, float them left

    #navs li {
    float: left;
    }

    and not

    #navs li {
    display: inline;
    }

    Phew!
