I am using the Twenty Eleven theme (child) and I have a main menu bar beneath the header of my site…
    About – News – Services – Gallery – Contact

I want to further divide (only) the Gallery section into half a dozen pages or so. When you click on “Gallery” in the main menu, I want a sub-menu bar to display at the top of the page, beneath the main menu, so you can choose which page to visit.

Does WP have built-in functionality for this?

I would use a Custom Menu.

Then, simply create your pages.. and arrange them into the order you would like.

That was a very helpful link.

Unfortunately, Twenty Eleven only supports one menu. Modifying the theme to add another would be a lot of work, wouldn’t it? I don’t like the look of drop-downs, but that may be my only other option.

    Thanks for your help!
