Hi, please help me. When i enable js minification for my website then everything works fine except my sub-menus. Minifying the javascripts make my website load extremely fast but this is the only that always force me to disable autoptimize for my website.

Is there anybody who can help me with this ?

I don’t seem to see the submenu’s when Autoptimize is disabled (as per ?ao_noptimize=1 being added to the URL) @aking01, so it looks like it’s not an AO problem?

sorry, my bad, that’s not correct. continuing my investigation, more later ??

OK, can you try excluding wp-content/themes/mts_splash/js/customscript.js or wp-content/themes/mts_splash/ ?

Thank you very much for your quick responses. I didn’t get the notification of the second msg and that is reason why i am late here. I tried excluding both but it doesn’t seem to be working.

Apart from that three more things autoptimze has broken for my website.

    1. Lazy load feature of my theme stopped working but thanks to your image optimization. I switched off my theme’s in-built lazy load and switched on yours. However, there’s a problem it is not loading gif images, so, can you help me with this ?

    2. Back to top button of my website also not appearing after optimizing JavaScript.

    3. OneSignal button also disappeared ??

My theme providers are on holiday so at the moment i am not getting help from them. If you can help me with these issues as Autoptimize is a fabulous plugin and i want to optimize my JavaScript with it. It is reducing my website load time by almost 50% but few things are breaking as mentioned above. Also, it doesn’t break my theme completely like few other plugins. If everything goes fine then it would be a great help for me !

    Thanks ??

Fixed the issue of lazy loading by excluding .gif files. But rest remain the same ??

re. onesignal; you have “also aggregate inline JS” on, you could try turning that off (might fix other issues as well) or add oneSignal to the comma-separated JS optimization exclusion list.

re. rest; I’m seeing “jQuery is not defined” because you’re asyncing, you’ll have to exclude jquery from that.
