• Hi,

I just created a menu using this plug in but my submenu is very far from the parent category on the main menu.

How can I position it to be right under the parent category?

I’d like to have it within those lines.

    Thanks a lot,

    Daniele

  • Hello Daniele,

Thanks a lot for using WP Mega Menu and contacting us.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience. I’m having trouble understanding the mentioned issue and possible solution without checking your site. It will be more pleasing for me if you can forward temporary your site link to get the solution faster.

    Regards,

    Hi Mehedi,

Thank you for your reply. My site is not live yet, that’s why I didn’t post the link of it.

Basically, if you see the screenshot, the categories in the submenu (Oceania, Australia and so on) are pretty far from the word destinations.

I’d like them (so the submenu) to be right under the main category word (Destinations)

    I hope it’s a bit clearer now.

    Thanks

    Daniele

    Hello Daniele,

Yes, I have checked the provided screenshot earlier. I understand the issue but I asked your live site for the solution. Unfortunately, the site is not live yet.

Can you please inform me about your theme name? So, I will try to reproduce the issue and find a solution for you.

    Thanks

Thank you so much for your quick reply!

I’m planning on releasing my website soon but I’d love to fix this issue before doing it.

I tried to look into the settings but couldn’t find the one to, basically, move the position of the submenu container.

The theme I’m using is Kalium.

    Hi there,

I have tried to reproduce the issue locally. It’s working fine for me. Please take a look at this screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/4qiXjMs.

You can upload your current local files on a development server. Hopefully, we will able to find a solution for you.

    Thanks

    Hi,

That’s a style of menu I’d like to have on my website and it’s what I was trying to achieve.

Would it be possible to upload the settings/theme you’ve used? Or is it just the standard theme?

    Thanks a lot

    Daniele

    Hello Daniele,

I have used one of our default themes which is classic blue. Here is the Menu settings screenshot: https://prnt.sc/qxut28

    Hi Mehedi,

I’m trying using other themes and I had to move the menu items to the centre, in order to get the mega menu lined up.

I’ll work more on it and post the website once it’s live.

    Thanks a lot,

    Daniele

I would be happy if I can reproduce the issue and solve that for you. But unfortunately, it’s working fine for me.

I will love to see you live or development site when you can show that. Hopefully, we will have a solution for you after that.
