• I’ve got quite complex page layout and large menus on my site using this theme. Is there any way to align the top of the submenu with the bottom of the navigation bar?

As it is, the top of the submenu appears aligned with the menu item under which the submenu appears. For long submenus this often means scrolling down. Obviously this is a drawback from a usability standpoint. If you scroll below the submenu and your cursor leaves the menu, it disappears and you’re left scrolling all the way back up to the top of the site to grab the main and then submenus again.

    Any ideas?

Sounds like simplifying your nav menu might be best for usability. You could add multiple levels to your dropdown. You might even consider using a plugin such as Widget Logic to show a particular menu in the right sidebar depending on the section.

I’ll have a better idea once I see what you are referring to.

I’m already using widget logic. Honestly Josh, I think it’s unfair that you’re suggesting that somehow I’m doing something wrong, or that I don’t know how to structure a menu. I’m already using multiple levels and have the navigation menu structured in the only way the arrangement of the site allows.

Honestly Josh, I had hoped you would have answered my question in the email I had sent you. I only posted this thread because you told me you wouldn’t provide support to me otherwise. Is it possible to do what I’m asking?

I am sorry you feel this way. Please don’t take it personally.

The theme’s readme.txt requests that all support be handled in the www.remarpro.com support forums. It gives others a chance to learn from your question as well as allow others to help answer your question.

Again, I apologize if my comments were somehow offensive. You mentioned usability in your original post and when you said a menu was so long it was extending beyond the fold my first thought was how it could be structured differently.

I would like to help if I am able but it is difficult to tell you what path to take if I can’t visualize what you are requesting.

Can you provide a link to your website or an example of what you are trying to achieve?

    Not offended, disappointed.

The top of the drop-down menus are flush with the navigation bar. I would like the top of the sub-menus to align with the navigation bar as well.

    Can that be done?
