Inside this gallery you see all pics, but I want to see submaps like ‘Trucks Holland Septmber’ ‘Trucks Holland October’ etc. etc.

Nope, because this part I am msising in the options of the free plug

@imediastars – You you can create sub-albums by dragging one album into another using the Gallery > Manage Albums interface. This is a standard feature of the NextGEN Gallery plugin.

It looks so easy but here my steps”:

Im going to manage albums
I select an album (Manage Albums), I can add galleries (blue) and drag it to the selected album. If I add a second gallery and save this, on my website page it shows a new map on the gallery page instead of a map in the album map.

Im using the following shortcode on my page [album id=7 template=compact]

Hope this will clear up some things…

@imediastars – You can add sub-albums to an album in the same method, just drag the “orange” album bar into the far left column to add it to the higher level album.
