• I would like to use WP on a domain with multiple subdomains all using the same database.

For instance I would like 1.abc.com, 2.abc.com, 3.abc.com, 4.abc.com all to use the same database but the twist is that I would like to use a plugin with different configurations on each subdomain.

Is there any possible way of doing this or do I need to have a WP installation for each subdomain?

  • The ‘Domain Mirror’ might get you going.

WordPress seems poorly suited for handling multi-site scenarios though. ??

I have a similar problem – I’m trying to pull wordpress posts onto pages in different sub-dirs and it fails without reason or error. I can only pull posts from the top-level, or from ./wordpress/…

    abc.com/
    abc.com/sub1/
    abc.com/sub2/
    abc.com/sub3/
    abc.com/wordpress/

If anyone can figure this out, I’ll fed-ex you a cookie.
