Subdomain WordPress Login?

  • I am currently using WordPress for the CMS of my personal Website. What I am trying to do is install WordPress for one of my Subdomain’s. I just want something very basic here (have done this previously to a different Subdomain). I know I have to copy all the WordPress files into my Subdomain folder using an FTP client. I guess my question is how do I then login to the dashboard for THIS Subdomain? What is the URL that I visit to enter the login info? What is my Username & Password?

    I know it’s possible as I have done it in the past. It’s just been too long!

    Is this the information inside the wp-config file? I can’t remember.

    No those are database log in info for wordpress you should have created a admin user name and password in last step when you installed wordpress

    Maybe I missed a step then. What I did was just copy all the files (from my desktop) when I download WordPress a long time ago. I didn’t actually enter new information on the web anywhere…

    If you have all files and folders in sub domain name and did not run install program then run install program.

    You must have got a old version of wordpress then if you do not have any data then is best to install the latest version
