subdomain related question

This is indirectly connected to WP so I hope it will be allowed to ask this:

I’m trying to decide on one of two subdomains – not sure which to pick. It’s basically going to be for a review site which will review books, games, music and film.

I;m still trying to decide whether I have seperate installs so that each site has it’s own subdomain:

books.domain.net
film.domain.net
games.domain.net
music.domain.net

Each one linking to a different site with the same template and design, but with a different header or maybe a slight variation in design to distinguish the medium, but all link throw a portal page.

I’m thinking reviews.domain.net or critic.domain.net I wanted criticalbastard.domain.net but I don’t think googleadsense will allow me – the last time I had to remove it due to excessive profanity on my site. I coudl ask them I suppose, as the site will contain reviews and only the domain will have the word bastard. Add to which, I am a bastard of sorts, so it would be factual rather than profanity.

What do you think? Other opinions? How should I go about this?
