Subdomain problem

I used this brilliant plugin on my main domain: https://purple-octopus.nl/.
I used it to change the prefix into a random code. But now the 2 subdomains that I had on this domain don’t work anymore.
It’s not a matter of just waiting since the subdomains did function normally.
The error says tat it can’t find the server.
Is this because I need to change the subdomain prefix to the same as my main domain or should this not be a problem?
