  • I got pages to work by checking “Subdomain Roots as Indexes”. So happy right now.

I had this working finally and then I updated wordpress. I tried Gorelog’s fix and it worked, but it removed my menu. ??

Can we get a fix for this that doesn’t involve the above option? One thing I did notice (although I’m not sure if it’s relevant to the issue) is that whenever I check ‘Must use as subdomain’ and leave ‘Exclude as subdomain’ unchecked, when I save and open the category again ‘Exclude as subdomain’ is checked. This seems counter to the purpose of these check boxes.

I’m having this problem as well; all of my category subdomains show the static front page. (And checking “subdomain roots as indexes” didn’t work.)

Same here, I also got a static front page and all category subdomains go there and won’t show an archive.

Same here. Adding rewrite rules to htaccess allowed me to display pages from subdomains correctly, but this is achieved by redirection, so finally url in browser doesn’t use subdomain (although all links do), so it ain’t any solution.
