Subdomain Page & XML / Indexing

    Hello, If I do add a subdomain to my website; and then create a WordPress site; and create new Pages within this subdomain WordPress site; How would I know the main domain .xml URL is also including the subdomain site?

    I did create and added a property to Google for the Subdomain. Would that help or confuse the matter?

    Also, in the Subdomain Site, I did install Google XML Sitemaps plugin, and it mapped or produced the Subdomain .xml URL. Would that confuse the matter ?

    Thank you for submitting your question.

    Since the subdomain will essentially be a net new website, you will need to create a new sitemap. It’s not possible to link the two together, and it’s okay if they are separate. Based on your setup, it sounds like you did it correctly.
