Subdomain only displays wp-config.php text (CentOS / Nginx)
-
Hello World,
I’m recently migrated my main site, mysite.com, to a new CentOS server running Nginx.
I’ve followed the steps listed here:
https://www.digitalocean.com/community/articles/how-to-install-wordpress-on-centos-6–2Everything works for the main site. I have a subdomain mysub.mysite.com which was running on it’s own version of wordpress on a different server.
I proceeded to create another config file and another wordpress installation for this subdomain (I’m not using multisite). I copied the same wordpress installation files I used for my main site (before anything was edited). When I flip everything on and go to https://mysub.mysite.com all I see is the text from the wp-config.php file for this site. Furthermore any directory shows me that wp-config.php file text (e.g. https://mysub.mysite.com/jibberish and https://mysub.mysite.com/wp-admin).
The file permissions seem to be correct, the database information is valid, and I’ve double checked the wp-config.php file and nginx config file for the site. I’m totally at a loss. For the permissions for the sites folder is all 755 since I wanted to make sure things could execute.
Any suggestions or even vague clues?
