Subdomain not visible

  • I have a site and a (real) subdomain which are oke, when you install wordpress two times. So DNS settings are oke, for now. When I empty my subdomain, and choose ‘multisite’ for the primaire site, with a subdomain, after alter ‘.htaccess’ and ‘wp-config.php’ nothing happens. When go to the subdomain, via webadres, I see an empty directory.
    What is wrong with me….?

  • The subdomain must also be assigned to the vhost with the WordPress installation. Have a look at the logfiles of your server, then you will see that the request still lands on the wrong/old vhost.
