Subdomain Help !

    Hi Guys,

    I need to set up a subdomain like games.cable.ie (this will be a section just for gaming related posts)

    I understand how to set-up a subdomain through c-panel etc.
    But my question is that If I create a subdomain like games.cable.ie

    I need to be able to change the background and logo without effecting cable.ie

    Also is there a way that my authors can post just to games.cable.ie, Where would they login to post them? …
    games.cable.ie/wp-admin ?

    See , I dont want gaming posts going on the main cable.ie website

    I keep hearing that child theme would be easier for making individual changes instead of uploading the whole wordpress theme into the game.cable.ie folder

    But would this work for posting? or is there an easier way that im missing?

    Would really appreciate some thoughts on this
