Subdomain Backup

    Hi
    I have UpdraftPlus set up in my domain, and have just added a subdomain.
    I can see that the domain and subdomain are both stored within the same files, but the databases are separate.
    Will Updraft backup my files and databases from both the domain and subdomain, or do I need to install it on my sudomain?

    Hi there,

    Unless the subdomain is part of a multisite (WordPress Network) you should treat it separately.
    Which means you should also install UpdraftPlus on the subdomain to have it back up correctly.
    If the subdomain is part of a multisite you would need to use our Premium plugin or the addon.
