    Hy to all,

    I have 2 questions:

    1) is there way for new users/blogs who make account to automaticly create subdomain? At the moment they create this > domain.com/xyz, can they create this > xyz.domain.com?

    2) Is there way to limit what themes can new blog use? Basicly i dont want them to use my default mainpage theme.

    i found myself answer to 1.st question (and module for 2.)

    but im looking at this (Before You Create A Network):
    Whichever methods you use, you will need to configure your DNS (to map the domain name to the server’s IP address) and server (to map the domain name to the WordPress installation directory). WordPress will then map the domain name to the site.

    Could anyone help with instructions on how to configure DNS and Server via cPanel?

    I created wildcard subdomain *.example.com – but how to configure DNS and server?

    1) You can set up one or the other – not both methods.
    2) Yes, you can install a theme and not make this network available.

    In your cPanel for your domain name, go to the DNS setting and create an entry with ‘*’ resolving to your server’s IP.

    Yes, i fallowed instructions and when i try to create demo website as user i get email where i need to do authentication but when i click on it it says “webpage canot be found”. subdomain (demo.example.com) and in cpanel i see that subdomain is not created.

    i made wildcard subdomain *.example.com and targeted it to public_html (where main instalation of WordPress is).

    What else do i need to do?

    and in wp-config.php i did
    define(‘SUBDOMAIN_INSTALL’, false); to define(‘SUBDOMAIN_INSTALL’, true);

    The other thing I have to do is to configure my webserver to resolve the wildcards.
