Subdirectory sites work with IP but not Domain Name

No change either way.

I set the default site to default permalinks, along with the subdirectory site. Instead of a 404, I now get redirected to the homepage. An improvement, I guess.

Does that give you an idea of the problem?

It makes me think your httpd.conf settings are really buggered when it comes to reading the .htaccess file.

Crap. The only changes that I’ve made to it are those suggested here.

We are running a MediaTemple (dv) 4.0 server. MT says that they ‘optimize’ the file for you…

Tell MT that you’re getting 404s.

MT told me to edit vhost.conf.

I added all of the code to it and restarted Apache. No change…
