Subdirectory breaks some themes?

  • My Network is set up to run on subdirectories rather than subdomains. I’ve noticed a couple themes don’t seem to look right. I thought maybe it just didn’t like being on a subdirectory, so I set up domain forwarding with a spare domain. This actually made things look a little better, but still not right.

    Is this a thing? Do subdomain networks do a better job being compatible with themes?

  • @kylesureline – A multisite installation as subdomains or sub-directories should not really have any significant effect on the sub-site functionality. You might want to check with the theme author(s) to see if they are aware of any concerns with multisite sub-directory installations.
