Subcategory URL Duplication

When use subcategory , woocommerce create two different URL with same query.

Example :
Site.com/shop/category/subcategory
Site.com/shop/subcategory

Both of this urls have same content.

This is kind of duplicate content .
Could someone explain this to me that is this a SEO problem ? Do i need to do something ?
Should i use some plugins or change permalink structure or do some redirection or canonical setting?

I’ve noticed that wordpress automatically redirect subcategories to base url for post type content but it doesn’t happen for woocommerce and product type .
