subcategory inherits category – flaw or design?

  • I have three categories (for instance A, B and C) and in each category I have added some subcategories (A1, A2, A3, etc). When I post a message in one of the subcategories (for instance A3) the message is also displayed in all the other subcategories (A1 and A2) of the main category (A). I have not published to that main category, only A3. Is this a bug? Can you have a look? Thanks.

    Hi bakkelhan,

    WP Posts Filter doesn’t make any difference between category and subcategory. The situation you have faced with is related to WP design, I think. I will have a look at if this can be adjusted.
