Subcategory appears first on admin menu

  • If I have subcategories and save a post with a selected subcategory, it appears first on the admin menu, as if it is not in the main category anymore.

    Hi @igralec – may I ask if the sub-category is the *only* category selected? If so – what you’re seeing is the expected (and legacy) behaviour of the categories widget in the admin.

    @jordesign yes. If I select only a sub-category, it is removed from the main category.
