Subcategories not visible when editing a post, visible in Post-Categories

    Hi all,

    I created a new subcategory when creating a new post. I selected the main category – create new category and chose the parent category.
    Now, the subcategory is not visible when I refresh the draft post.
    I can’t see the subcategory if I go to my old published post either.
    However, I see the subcategory if a go to Post-Categories.
    How to fix that?
    Is that because the subcategory is empty?

  • Any category or subcategory will not be visible in the front-end (user facing) view of the site, unless there is at least one post added to it.

    Where exactly are you unable to see the sub category? Front end, or the WP Admin section while editing the post?
