    Hi,

    I have just finished building a market research blog for my company, and am facing the following problem:
    I see subcategories on the blog which I previously either deleted or converted into tags. I want to delete them, but I cannot see them in the Categories management screen.

    I tried editing category-template.php but without success.
    I also viewed topics in the forum which seem to deal with the same issue, and referred to something called wp_term_taxonomy which I could not find anywhere…
    I cannot give my blog URL as it is internal, but I still hope you can help.

    Thanks in advance, Tuvi

    Hi All,

    I followed the instructions in:

    I went into wp-admin/includes/template.php
    and deleted:
    if ( $category->parent != $parent )
    continue;

    This resulted in all subcategories showing up in the admin screen, where I could delete/edit the relevant ones.

    Hope this helps, Tuvi
