    Hello

We need to add two Unit of Measure to our products.
For example, Meter as a main unit and Cloth Roll as a Sub-Unit.

    How can I do this?

    Hi @hopefulness,

The extension that comes closest to this need is the Measurement Price Calculator. However, you will be able to set up one unit of measure, preferably dimensions (length) in Meters. The documentation explains further on this: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/measurement-price-calculator/#default-units

As for the cloth roll part, would you elaborate how it should impact your calculations. Perhaps it can be configured some other way, so let us know how the cloth roll should affect your prices.

    Thanks.

    Unit and Secondary Unit

    Hello @abwaita

Thanks for responding immediately. My apologies for the late reply.

Our products have two ways of counting as they are textile, roll and meter. The price we set is based on meter yet we count the rolls and costumers usually do too.

so the problem here is we need to set 2 units of measurements for each product for example 1 roll of X = 200 meters, 1 roll of Y = 300 meters, ….

So if someone chooses 2 rolls of X the price should be 400 * (the price per meter)

I hoep I have made my point clear here

    Thanks for getting back @hopefulness.

If primarily you’re selling in rolls, which have determined lengths for each product, I think you can set this up using simple or variable products.

    Product X = $10/roll (in the description you could state 1 roll = 200m)
    Product Y = $20/roll (in the description you could state 1 roll = 300m)

    * Here’s a guide on setting up different types of products: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/managing-products/

Let us know if this would work.
    Thanks.

    Hello @abwaita

    Thanks for responding immediately.

    We use an accounting program.
Our accounting program has main unit and sub-units. We use main unit to calculate and formulate prices. The price of textile’roll (our sub unit) depends on its length (means meter and main unit)

Because of the abundance of products, It is not possible to enter prices manually on a case-by-case basis.

We want to sync our accounting program data with WooCommerce by a plugin. So, we need to WooCommerce support two units

    Thanks for the clarification.

From the explanation, it seems that some code customization will be required.

For insights on this, I would recommend checking for insights from the more dev-oriented resources:

    * The WooCommerce Facebook group
    * The #developers channel of the WooCommerce Community Slack.

For assistance with custom coding, you can consult with WooCommerce Customizations Page

    Thanks.
