• Wow, just love the work you’ve done on this plugin — thanks for making it available.

It looks like we’re limited to one layer of sub-page for tracking and navigation, is that correct?

I wonder what it would take to get another level? I often have this set-up:

    COURSE HOME
    – Topic Overview
    — Individual lessons

Any way to make that work?

    Thanks!

Hi and thanks for the feedback. You’re correct it only tracks child pages for a single parent page. However, you could still set it up so that you have an overview of your topics, and then each topic has a progress bar for that topic.

Does that make sense? It depends if you need a global tracker for the entire course or if you are happy to have it simple tracking individual topics.

Sure, that works. — I’d still vote for a way to track a deeper structure, but then I’m not the guy who has to write the code!

Thanks for the help and the quick reply.

I’m just struggling to see how it would work.
We could add a global progress bar that would look at all pages currently tracked and give a percent complete based on total progress. Is that what you mean?

    Sure.

I’m seeing that any nested pages would be a single entity (a course in my case), no matter how deep.

It would be valuable to track progress across the entire entity.

Navigation would go right down the hierarchy in sequence, regardless of depth.
