Sub > Sub item is not showing on mobile menu

    Hello,
    Please help. Here is the issue.
    I have a menu item as a parent. Than I have a submenu underneath the parent item(child item). Than underneath that child item I have several other menu items. Those are not showing. I have added them in my menu widget under the child menu. To me the easiest way to say this is the sub – sub menu is not showing. Hope this is not to confusing.

  • Hi Ryan,

    What value do you have set for the “Menu Depth” option?

    If it’s not this, then it could be some CSS in your theme overwriting it.

    Hey Peter,
    Thanks for getting back with me! Were is the Menu Depth option? is it one in the admin section of your menu or you talking about the value on the tag in the html?

    I noticed that sub-menu has a class of display: none. and that the list under that does to. It is like the javascript is not firing for the sub sub menu, because when I click a parent link that has a sub nave it removes the display: none, but once I am inside of that sub it does not show an arrow to click to remove the display: none and show the menu. I can manually remove the display: none, but it seems to break the js.

    Here is the link to my test site I am working on and underneath “New Patient Center” There should be a another sub on the “What to Expect” link. Also before I contacted you I set those pages (In wordpress admin section) to take on the parent of “What to Expect” thinking that is how it needs to be done for your code to recognize that it is another sub menu. But that did not work either.

    Hi Ryan,

    It seems that the option is not set correctly in the Responsive Menu admin section.

    Have you tried changing it to 5 for example or what is it set to at the moment?

    Actually on further inspection there seems to strange stuff added to your “CSS of Menu to Hide” option, for example it seems the following has been entered?

    #responsive-menu .responsive-menu li li .appendLink, #responsive-menu .responsive-menu li li li

    Either this or something very odd is going on, can you provide a WordPress admin user for me to take a look.

    ughhhhh I guess I had a brain fart. lol I fixed it. I found the menu depth setting now that you referred to earlier. I set it to 4 and it now shows. Sorry for wasting your time. Thanks for your help.
