    I converted an existing wordpress to a multi-site sub-domain wordpress install. For example, I had the existing site located sub.domain.com and when I want to install an additional wordpress site, its creating everything in the following manner new.sub.domain.com

    How do I get it to create in the following manner: new.domain.com vs. new.sub.domain.com ?

    Install in domain.com, not SUB.domain.com for one.

    If you can’t, make subfolders (sub.domain.com/new) and try mapping domains, but that’s frustratingly complicated.
