sub-site dashboard redirect to main site dashboard

  • i have multisite with 6 sub-sites on Linux server

    i recently switched to a new host but the site stayed with the same url

    after the the move (which happened at the same time as the last wordpress update) links to sub-sites dashboard or are going to main site dashboard
    ,that happens also when updating or making a post (which miss things up or returns an error)
    i read here somewhere about changing site url in network>sites>site url but that is showing up correctly
    i read in another place to change the url in the database site_option and fortunately that solved the problem
    but in like an hour or so it goes back to what it was and the entries in the database returned to point to the main site
    i did it again and again and did a network update after but still goes back to the same issue
    any help guys ?? i’ve been searching for a week now

    also and that is strange .. the site is loading in https … which i don,t have a certificate for and never did
    all the links in wp-config are with http i tried to change the url in the database from https://humsc.net to https://humsc.net
    and to it worked but after 2-3 hours it goes back to https
