Sub page, containing post excerpts from a single category w/ thumbnails

  • Hi There,

    please, could anyone point me in the correct direction for this?

    I have a site that needs one sub page with post excerpts from a single category that includes a thumbnail image.

    You click on the excerpt and it takes you to the post (which is not listed anywhere else on the site)

    I know how to get the thumbnails and excerpts happening but I’m not sure about getting excerpts + thumbs from the specific category and making the sub-page that contains ’em

    Any help greatly appreciated ??
