• Hello

I was wondering if wordPress had this functionality or has plugins to support the following functionality.

    1. Subnavigation – For instance under each main link (tab) there will be displayed other tabs below it. I would like that feature to be controlled by WP
    2. Paypal subscription to content – Certain areas are not accessible by members of the site. And in order to access the member only section you would pay a subscription fee by way of paypal. And if your fee is not current the system would know and not allow access.

Some of this may or may not be too far-fetched for WP but I have heard so much about it, that I am looking into it for this project. But after my research I did not see any sites with the above features so I am not sure if it is possible. Also I may have put this in the wrong section. And for that I apologize if that is the case.

    Cheers

  • 1. Maybe yes – depending on what do you sall “tabs”. Menus are (usually) made up by Pages or categories or both.

    2. No. Not without some not free membership software like amember.

Thanks. as for #1 so in WP pages can have subpages which in turn will have a nav under teh main nav? I guess that is more my question using WP terms.

This is a good example of the nav structure and tabs I am referring to. I have not seen this done with WP.

#2 amember plugs into WP? I will search for that term now.

Found info on “amember”…Looks awesome. If WP can do the subnav thing. I think we have a winner.
