sub menus do not display their page

  • The URL is https://www.progressiveresearchinstitute.org. Theme is Atahualpa. Both the menu and submenus display. The submenu, however, retrieves a 404 not found message rather than the page it supposedly links to.

    I created a custom menu with parent and child menu items. The child menu items are pages previously created. After a number of reviews I can find no error on my part.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  • Make sure your Permalinks have been updated and saved. Settings > Permalinks (select the desired format) > Save Changes

    Permalinks updated/saved. URL refreshed. No change.

    I changed the permalinks to “default” and saved. I seem to recall a previous post mentioning that only the default permalink would function properly. Now I’m beginning to get proper page displays. I think I can take it from here.
