• I have been trying to add some child pages to a parent page in a drop down menu on our site. Before I would drag and drop the child page (in appearance, menu) slightly to the right of the parent page. It would then add it as a drop down menu. It moves it to the right but when I save the menu it moves it back to the left and doesn’t show in a drop down menu.

This has totally messed up the look of the menu on the website! https://www.barnesweddings.co.uk

I’ve tried making my gallery plugin and seo plugin not active but it didn’t help.

    Any ideas!?

  • You appear to be be using a custom theme. Have you tried contacting the theme’s developer? In the meantime have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.
