Sub-menu disappears when moving mouse arrow

Hello together,

I’m using the Go theme for a church website. I toggled the option in the Customizer that the sub-menu is shown on hover. Unfortunately I and several visitors experience that the sub-menu disappears when trying to move the mouse arrow to an item of the sub-menu.

It happens very frequent in Safari on macOS, but also in Firefox and Chrome.

Is anybody else experiencing a similar problem? Do you know any fix for that behaviour? I’m using a child theme. Last year there was a similar error, maybe it’s connected?

I would be very grateful for any help.
