Sub menu causes issues on default nav menu

  • I am having issues with the sub menu items in my menu. When using the exact same settings, active sub menu items become bold with black colour, the settings I have chosen show that it should be gold. This works correctly on menus without a drop down. I am working on my localhost. I have attached images if my explanation is poor.

    Are you able to assist with this? Thanks heaps

    I am using an blank elementor canvas, I have attached more images to possibly assist.

    I just have no idea where the bold would even be coming from, there is only one area to change the font and that seems to be correct from what I can tell

    Im guessing if you cant solve it, the quickest thing to do would be to edit the css manually?

    I just ran console in chrome and noticed an error, i have included it at the top of that imgur link, would that cause any issues like what i am seeing?
