Is it possible creating unlimited level of sub-categories for each main category?

Is it the number of items (products) per category unlimited?

    Hello!

Let me ask why do you need to create sub-categories, what final result are you expecting to have ?
Yes unlimited products can have unlimited categories per each.
    Thanks

I use the word unlimited for the categories just to ask for the freedom in creating the catalog. Actually, I need 5 to 6 levels depth of subcategories or max 7.
This is a basic structure for library catalogs and collectibles catalogs where the items are usually 10,000+.

You know, I’d like to know if I have freedom if I decide to start a catalog with this plugin. Meaning: no limit of products, no limit of pages per category, no limit of main categories, no limit of structure in the category tree.

My catalog is planned to have 3-7 main categories and 40-50 sub-categories in different levels per each main category. I think 250-300 categories in total, containing about 20,000 items (products).

    So?

Actually, we didn’t have any useful functionality of sub-categories in the plugin so we have even removed mentioning the parent category functionality from Categories page.
So, unfortunately, you can’t do that with this version of plugin. But let us ask you to spend a few minutes more and explain how would sub-categories work on front-end.
We always review the customer offers for new features and provide the functionality with updates.
