    We have post categories and sub categories. How do I make sub categories options to subscribe to? I only see main categories. Also, how do can someone get a notification if they subscribe to a main category if something is added to a sub category of that main category?

  • Try it

    [stc-subscribe subscriber_notification="true" treeview_enabled="true" treeview_folded="true"]

    Looks here:

    This shows the main categories, but not the sub categories. Any way to allow someone to sign up for a sub category? Also, if the sign up for one of these main categories, will be they alerted if there someone is posted in a sub category?

    ALso, is there a way to limit the categories that someone sees and that they can subscribe to?

    I found this:

    category_in=”news, article”

    So I put in:

    category_in=”Dairy Performance”

    Dairy Performance is one of our main categories. But when I view it, the category does not show up. I also tried the slug: dairy-performance and that did not work either. So the full short code I have is:

    [stc-subscribe subscriber_notification=”false” treeview_enabled=”true” treeview_folded=”false” category_in=”Dairy Performance”]

    Can you tell me what is wrong and why the Dairy Performance category isn’t showing?

    According STC’s manual cat in etc only works when treeview is false. In the STC Manual it is explained why. Please read manual carrfully.
