Sub blog, not sub domain problem

    I know I am overlooking something simple, but 3 days of reading doc’s & forums have not presented the solution…
    Installed WPMU. Main blog / admin work fine.
    When I try to create an additional blog (sub blog?) it tries to use the format blog.domain. I need it to be domain/blog.
    I thought there might be a plugin or hack for this, but I have yet to find it.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Solved.
    Finally found a post re: wp-config.php define(‘VHOST’, ‘no’);
