Styling the_content() on a Custom Page

I’m trying to create a custom page template to display a listing of the posts. I want to display the full content of the posts in the listing.

I have got the posts listing but without any paragraph markers. So the test displays in one continuous block.

I would appreciate advice on how to fix this.
