Styling subpage on menu

Hello,

I have a simple horizontal dropdown menu, however I would like the second level to span the full width of the menu rather than starting in line with the parent link, it seems the style is locking into the ul li position rather than floating left.

Has anyone ever done anything like this an example site is peverel.co.uk that I am trying to achieve but this uses jquery
