Styling Posts in sets of Four

    Hello there and thanks for getting this far in my post! ??

    I’ve designed a theme for a photographer client of mine in which I’ve outsmarted myself concerning coding.

    I am looking to style posts in the following pattern:

    First image displayed as horizontal using TimThumb.

    Second and Third Image displayed as vertical using TimThumb.

    Fourth image displayed as horizontal using TimThumb.

    How can I create a counter to achieve this sort of loop?
