When using Sections and Advanced Columns, the styling options will not update on the frontend. This includes spacing options for margin and padding and width settings. In some cases, when updating a Sections or Advanced Columns block, all styling options completely disappear.

  • I’ve been experiencing the same issue since 1.23.0, using this plugin with the Astra theme. The plugin somehow fails to generate any customization css on the frontend.

Try rolling back the plugin to version 1.22.5, that fixed the issue on my end.

    Hello @joselcruz ,

Can you please share a video with us so that we can follow the steps and can replicate the issue?

Also, try once after Regenerating Assets option. Kindly navigate yourself to Dashboard > Settings > UAG, and click on the “Regenerate Assets” button from here. This will quickly regenerate the CSS and JS files required for the page. This option could fix any design or layout-related issues on your UAG pages.

Let me know how it goes. Looking forward to hearing from you.

I’m experiencing the same issues. The changes to the advanced column settings (padding, margin, width, etc) don’t seem to be updated automatically. using ‘regenerate assets’ does work (but gets quite tedious).

For a couple of sites I’ve installed an older version (1.22.5), from what I could see this was the last version that didn’t have this issue (but also didn’t have the ‘regenerate assets’ option).

I’ve tried using both enabling and disabling file generation, but it doesn’t seem to make a difference.

Also, it’s not just that changes aren’t being processed, sometimes none of the settings are applied in the frontend. In those cases ‘regenerate assets’ also works.

Here is a recording of the issue. This is a brand new WordPress install I just started working on. There are no other plugins active and it’s using the default WordPress Theme (shown in recording). You can see the initial styling works, but as soon as it’s updated, the styling disappears:

EDIT: It seems that clicking Regenerate Assets does help, but this adds a lot of time when updating stuff. Especially in the early stages of a site when designs are shifting, content is changing, etc. I love the sections and advanced columns but I simply cannot use this plugin in its current state.

    Hi Sweta,

I notices you’ve just released a new version of your plugin, does this include the fix you mentioned? I’ve already installed it and so far it looks good, but just wanted to confirm.

    Thanks!

    Hello @visualwritings ,

Yes, we have fixed it in our latest version. ??
