Styling not showing on dashboard panel

  • Hello,

    I have three client sites ready to go to the client and have used White Label CMS previously with great results for creating a custom welcome dashboard in my clients branding. I exported the first, successfully branded Elementor dashboard template and imported it to the three new sites, then changed a the styling to better work for the client’s brand.

    The styling shows perfectly in the Elementor Pro Editor, but when viewed on the Dashboard home it’s like all styling has been wiped and it shows the standard WordPress. This is the case across all three new sites which have different styling on Elementor but are showing the same, incorrect output on the Welcome Dashboard.

    I was really pleased with the original time I used this plugin so would love to achieve the same great results again. Any known plugin conflicts that might cause it? Any suggestions for how to correct it?

    Also, the plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest version of WordPress – could this be a cause for the problem?

    Thanks for contacting us. Another user recently got back to us with what might be a solution for you. This is what he said:

    “OK – I believe I’ve solved the mystery.

    The problems I was experiencing is due to the ‘global/default’ formatting. So when you create a custom template from Elementor you have to select a font, style, size and you can’t leave it on ‘default’ – Even if the template was created in the same WordPress build.”

    Perhaps this will solve your problem, as it sounds like a similar issue.

    Let me know if that doesn’t work.

    That solution only partially works for me.
    When I explicitly set the font, size and color. It will take that. but other styling like bullet points, spacing etc will not work properly.
