Styling Mutliple Sode bars

Am right in thinking that multiple sidebars actually creates a different class for each sidebar? I’d like to be able to style certain widgets, but if they appear in more than one page, we seem to nee do style each separate class to achieve this. Any clues about getting round this issue?
