    Hi,

As there is currently no option to decide on which forms you want to use the captcha or not (https://github.com/FriendlyCaptcha/friendly-captcha-wordpress/issues/23), I was wondering if there is any damage in hiding the captcha box?

Currently I am trying it out local, and on some of the smaller forms the box is severely wrecking the styling of my site. So either way I would like to style the captcha box so it fits better with my design, or maybe even a better way is to hide the box completely and let it work in the background (something like: style=”display: none”). With a small notice at the bottom I would refer that the form is protected by friendlyCaptcha so users are noted.

Am I correct that the captcha will keep working as expected (just not visible to the user anymore), or do you have any other suggestions?

    Thanks!

    Hey there!

In general, this would be possible from a technical point of view.

However from an accessibility point this could be an issue as not every user would be informed about the usage of Friendly Captcha then.

Another point to consider is that the Press to start button in the widget is a fallback option if the captcha – for whatever reason – doesn’t start automatically.

From a transparency point of view, you should include a text and referring link to Friendly Captcha in a way that you described.

Hope that this info helps you!
