I don’t know if this is something that is already slated to be changed, but if not may I politely suggest that more options for this, and other BP plugins, are provided so that the colours and other styles can automatically match those of whichever theme is in use, or be adjusted in the plugin settings? I have just had to examine the output and then write more than 40 lines of css just for this plugin so everything matches my existing styles. The same applies for Buddypress itself and it does get tiresome.

    Hi @awol

I can understand how frustrated you feel. But there are so many themes available not to mention custom styling people like you are doing, that it’s very difficult to adapt perfectly magically to your theme. We inject our templates with minimal styling so that you don’t need to use a specific BuddyPress theme to use the plugin, you can directly use it within your custom theme. The downside is that you need to add some lines of CSS.

Once we will make possible to edit BuddyPress area from the Site Editor for Block only themes, this will probably be improved. If more people contribute to BuddyPress it can happen during the next release.

    Hi @imath,

Thanks for the response; I hope this type of thing will improve across the BP universe, as it would not only be a boon when people are styling their site but would also help site speed.
