• Hey there,

I’m hoping somebody can check out this site https://www.joannakeller.com
and help me figure out why my theme.css stylesheet isn’t loading, nor are any images aside from the image slider. If you look at the header of the homepage, you will see “facebook, twitter etc” as text not images.

I’m not sure why this is happening, since it worked perfectly fine up until yesterday. I’ve done file and database restores from December 13th, and nothing helps. I’ve also tried using absolute paths to the files, and still nothing.

Any help or insight would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  • I don’t think it’s your theme.css stylesheet.

    Does the folder
    https://www.joannakeller.com/wp-content/themes/Beautique/images/
really exist? It doesn’t appear so.

Also, case sensitive, if the folder exists, is Pinterest.png really present?

    Best,

    Hi Florian,

The folder exists and so do the images that my header is trying to reference. It’s really mind-boggling as to why it can’t find my stylesheet or images. The style that is showing up is either hard-coded, or being read from a plugin’s stylesheet.

Do any of these folder have a .htaccess file within them, also, what have you set the folder permissions to?

There is an .htaccess file inside the theme folder which I thought was odd. I never put it there. I’ve tried changing the permissions to edit and delete but no luck. It’s set to ‘deny from all’.

That was the issue, I had to get ahold of my hosting company to allow access to delete it. Thanks Florian!

    Great, glad that worked.

Best of luck with your site.

    Florian
